Little lady peeking in!

We very nearly have our first doll to scamper to the shop! I wouldn’t want to hurry her, but she’s turning out so lovely. This first batch of dolls has been such a wonderful education as I go, taking in all the processes that are and aren’t working for me, and the ways to improve upon them. This kind of troubleshooting and engineering is honestly one of my favorite things to do, because at the end I can feel in my hands the difference it makes in the dolls. I adore the personalities they are getting throughout the process too, I was worried I might get a touch stumped on fleshing them all out but it’s been easy to follow the lead of the doll and allow them to show me who they are (yes, I know how pretentious that all sounds, it’s okay I’m cringing too). I can already tell the next batch will be quite stylistically different. There are just too many methods to master!

More friends coming soon…in new mediums?? Oh my.
